They are looking at the problem from a technological standpoint, focusing on blocking sites rather than trying to target just one root area. In addition, they are tackling the issue from other angles as well – such as stopping influencers from promoting gambling. They are also collaborating with the Social Affairs and Religious Affairs ministries to try and mitigate the problem. The ministry is also trying to stop the use of banks for gambling. This includes identifying which bank accounts are used for gambling and working with the banks to block them.
